Book and Author News -- Issue #13


High Noon by Nora Roberts arrives in stores on Tuesday, July 10. See a commercial on noraroberts.com. Also on the site, get a sneak peek at Nora’s Sign of Seven Trilogy. The first book, Blood Brothers will be out on November 27, 2007.

Romance writers head to Dallas for the Romance Writers of America Conference next week. Nora Roberts and Jo Beverly along with over 450 other authors will be signing at the “Readers for Life” Literacy Autographing on July 11, 2007, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Hyatt Regency hotel. See list of authors.

Deirdre Martin has just sold two more novels. So readers will be reading her books into 2011.

MOVIE UPDATES: DVDs: Nora's Lifetime movies will be available on DVD in sets of two on the following dates:Angels Fall/Montana Sky on August 7.Blue Smoke/Carolina Moon on Sept. 11.


Please note that these will be DVDs for Region 1 DVD players. If you are an international reader, please make sure that your DVD player accepts them.Airdates: There will be a Nora Roberts movie marathon on Lifetime on Aug. 5 to get you all in the mood.


Canada: Blue Smoke - July 5. German air dates: The movies will air in Germany starting July 12 and will run for the following three Thursday evening in this order: Angels Fall, Montana Sky, Blue Smoke and Carolina Moon.

We are still waiting for word as to when the movies will air in the UK and Australia. As soon as we have word, we will post it here.
